The Samsung Galaxy S25 series this year was all powered by Snapdragon processors. Reports indicate it was because of production problems with the Exynos 2500 chipset but the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 eventually came with it.

Each time there is a new Samsung Galaxy release, there is always the question of what processor it will feature—Exynos or Qualcomm? The same thing is happening with the Galaxy S26 lineup. According to SamMobile, there is evidence that the Samsung S26 Pro, which is the standard model, and the S26 Plus will use the Exynos 2600, while the S26 Edge and the S26 Ultra will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
The Snapdragon chipset may be used in all the models sold throughout Samsung’s largest markets, the US and China. It won’t be the first time Samsung has done something similar. By using the Exynos chip for some models, Samsung will reduce production costs, although those running on Qualcomm’s processor will still outperform them.
Like we already know, Galaxy S26 Pro will be the most affordable in the lineup with the Ultra model being the flagship phone with advanced features. Whether the Galaxy S26 series uses Samsung’s own Exynos chip or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon, the flagship phones will still offer the same features.
