When one tech giant starts a trend, other tech companies follow. The same is true about smartphones. When the iPhone 15 Pro launched with a titanium frame in 2023, Samsung was quick to follow suit. When the iPhone Air made its debut this year, Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 Edge, as if saying: “If you can make a super slim phone, so can we.” This time, Apple has released the iPhone 17 Pro in a bold Cosmic Orange finish, and a leak suggests Samsung might do the same.

A leaked image of the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s dummy unit has surfaced on X. It shows the phone in three colour variants — silver, gold, and a bright orange shade that closely resembles the iPhone 17 Pro’s Cosmic Orange. With the orange colour making waves since the iPhone 17 launch, it won’t come as a surprise if Samsung plans to copy Apple’s style with the Galaxy S26 Ultra next year.
We can’t be certain if the leak is accurate, but if it’s true, Samsung’s next flagship phone will roll out in the latest trendiest smartphone colour. If that happens, other Android phones will want to go with the trend to not feel left out. All this is speculation, of course, until Samsung confirms the leak.
Samsung’s anticipated Galaxy S26 lineup is expected to roll out in three models, but there might be changes to this. Reports suggest that instead of the standard Galaxy S26, a Galaxy S26 Pro might take its place. Also in place of the Plus model, there might be the Galaxy S26 Edge. The Ultra model remains unchanged. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to continue as the top-of-the-line model in the series.
