The Samsung Galaxy S26 series is expected to roll out February 25, though there’s no official confirmation from Samsung. The company has released three video teasers that highlight camera upgrades.

Samsung is teasing enhanced zoom and low-light video capabilities on the Galaxy S26 series. The first teaser video shows a user zooming in on a dog sitting inside a car, with the footage suggesting zoom levels well beyond 10x. The teaser notes that the images include AI-generated backgrounds.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra comes with a 50MP periscope telephoto with 5x optical zoom and a 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom. While the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ will get an upgraded 12MP 3x telephoto camera or retain the 10MP telephoto unit from the Galaxy S25 series.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to feature an enhanced 200MP primary rear camera with an f/1.4 aperture. The Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra are tipped to launch on February 25, while sales will begin in March. The lineup will feature either the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC or the Exynos 2600 chipset depending on the region.
