Samsung has begun rolling out an update to Good Lock’s LockStar module. The update features version 8.5.00.17. It also comes with three changes as stated below:
- Fixed lock screen / AOD clock settings error
- Fixed errors occurring during Smart Switch / GTS
- Fixed manual brightness malfunction on non-Full screen AOD devices
You can update LockStar by going to the Galaxy Store and then tapping the hamburger menu icon at the top-left corner of the screen. Select Updates after that and tap on the Update all button.
On the Good Lock modules, Samsung launched an update for One Hand Operation +. This also adds support for the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s Privacy Display.
It’s likely that soon Samsung will integrate the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s Privacy Display option in other Good Lock modules. This, no doubt, will make these modules and the feature more useful, especially for the Galaxy S26 users. The three changes the update features are worth it.
