She explained that Tere Ishq Mein was incredibly heavy, deeply intense, and emotionally exhausting. After completing that film, she felt completely drained and knew she could not immediately take on another serious project. She was eager to engage in something light hearted, refreshing, and different from her previous work.

Kriti shared that she was yearning for a project like Cocktail 2. She wanted to explore a youthful, urban, and enjoyable rom com vibe that would bring her joy. The actress expressed that the film came at the perfect moment when she needed it most. The production has already made significant progress. The team has completed nearly two major filming schedules and is about to begin another one in Mumbai. Kriti is clearly excited about how the film is shaping up and how different it is from anything she has done before.
