Even more interesting is the promotional strategy that comes attached with the launch, the first teaser is being positioned as a theatrical-only experience.
With audiences increasingly conditioned to expect instant digital drops, Cocktail 2 is leaning into the old-school big screen reveal, and fans will need a cinema ticket to catch the first moving glimpse.
Cocktail 2 Teaser To Be Out Only In Cinemas With Dhurandhar 2
As per multiple reports, the Cocktail 2 teaser will be attached exclusively to Dhurandhar 2 in theatres. That means viewers watching Dhurandhar 2 on the big screen will also get the first teaser of Cocktail 2 as part of the theatrical print, rather than it being released online simultaneously.
The posters, meanwhile, serve as a punchy introduction to the new trio and the film’s playful energy. Cocktail 2 is produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, and it is being directed by Homi Adajania. The film is positioned as a sequel to the 2012 hit Cocktail, which starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty.
On the story front, the makers are keeping things tightly under wraps for now, but the marketing makes one thing clear, Cocktail 2 is aiming for a youthful, relationship-driven rollercoaster with a fresh cast dynamic.
