Microsoft has announced the additions to Xbox Game Pass in September 2025, which are being led by Team Cherry’s highly-anticipated Hollow Knight: Silksong. The action adventure game will be available on the service right from release for everyone with Ultimate or PC Game Pass.
Fans of strategy games can look forward to September 4 as well, since Cataclismo will come to the library alongside Silksong. The brick-based survival strategy game mashes together LEGO and Stronghold, tasking you with constructing a fortress that can survive the onslaught of entire armies of nightmarish creatures.
Altogether, September – at least when it comes to the first release wave – is not a massive month for Game Pass additions, though, with only four games joining the line-up.
Additionally, Nine Sols is moving to Game Pass Standard on September 3 on Xbox Series X|S.
