French esports organisation Team Vitality has reaffirmed its commitment to sim racing following its departure from the RENNSPORT R1 competition.
As a result, the organisation will turn its focus to the upcoming ERL VCO championship in addition to developing a dedicated sim racing division.

Team Vitality revealed that its team of drivers, that previously competed in RENNSPORT R1, will continue to represent the organisation in high-profile competitions taking place online and across the world.
In addition to retaining its sim racing roster, Team Vitality has announced that R8G Esports will continue to manage its drivers. The two parties first joined forces in May 2024, for the organisation’s entry into RENNSPORT, a title that has attracted a variety of esports organisations and sim racing teams.
“At a time when the sim racing scene faces uncertainty, we choose continuity,” Team Vitality stated on X (Twitter). “We choose growth. And above all, we choose our players. This is not a step back, the hive is expanding.”
Alongside its existing sim racing lineup, the French organisation has announced the signing of Kaj de Bruin, Antonio Santos, and Kylian Drumont. The trio will compete in the Gran Turismo World Series, starting with the opening round on March 28th in Abu Dhabi. Drumont is no stranger to success in Gran Turismo esports, as he won the gold medal at the Olympic Esports Week in 2023.
Team Vitality’s Continued Growth
Team Vitality’s commitment to its sim racing operations continue its recent expansion in the first two months of 2026.
In February, the organisation unveiled its CrossFire and PUBG rosters ahead of the upcoming season, alongside announcing a partnership with French retailer E.Leclerc. January saw Team Vitality enter Age of Empires esports with the signing of three high-profile players.
While the lack of high-profile sim racing events is concerning for the wider scene, Team Vitality’s efforts to supporting its players, along with signing new names, is a sign that organisations still see value in virtual motorsport.
