Over the weekend, Prabal Gurung, alongside official makeup partner Youngblood Cosmetics, unveiled a skin-first beauty look designed to radiate under the runway lights at the designer’s Fall/Winter 2026 show. The effect was luminous and refined—glossy, light-reflective skin paired with glassy lips, with select models wearing a veil of chrome for a “flash of dimension.”
“This season finds beauty in complexity and celebrates strength and resilience,” shares Gurung. “For the beauty look, like with the collection, we wanted to create subtle nods to this notion. This came to life with a skin-first look that highlights the power, the realness and the stories of the women who inspire us so deeply. With Youngblood Cosmetics, we accentuated glossy, radiant skin with highlighter for added luminosity. We finished with lip oils in an array of hues—deep berry, oranges and reds, adding a touch of wonder, a glimmer of hope for a brighter tomorrow.”
Backstage, the team, led by key makeup artist Sheika Daley, created “fresh and dewy” skin using the Hydra Glow Treatment Balm ($45), a nutrient-rich, complexion-boosting cream that doubles as a primer for what she calls that “lit-from-within base.”
For an even complexion with a soft-matte finish, Daley’s team turned to the Ultimate Concealer ($34), applied with the Complete Concealer Luxe Brush ($29), and worked BeyondBlur Skin Perfecting Foundation ($58) into the skin with the Skin Perfecting Foundation Luxe Brush ($16). “The look is very clean,” Daley says.
For added radiance, the Pro Glow Crème Highlighter Stick ($48) was tapped onto the T-zone and cheekbones using the Multi-Tasker Crème Blush Luxe Brush ($42), enhancing dimension without overpowering the skin-first focus.
For the nude lip look, the team applied the brand-new EverGlow Lip Oil in Cosmo ($34; launching today), which gave a glassy, mirror-like finish. The gloss-oil hybrid delivers high-shine and intense hydration via a blend of antioxidant-rich oils and plumping peptides.
To achieve the chrome effect, lips were prepped with the EverGlow Lip Oil in Wild Rose or Bitten Berry to lock in moisture before the MUAs layered chunky glitter in orange, red and deep berry shades on top for multidimensional shine. For deeper red chrome lips, the Lip Liner Pencil in Truly Red ($22) and the Mineral Cream Lipstick in Vixen ($28) were applied before the chrome placement for added depth.
