While there’s recently been a lot of doubt regarding the state of OnePlus’ smartphone business in global markets, one thing’s for certain—the brand is still intent on keeping business going as usual, as seen with the launch of the new OnePlus Nord 6.
While it pretty much resembles the more expensive OnePlus 15, the Nord 6 understandably features more modest hardware specs in order to keep its price down. For one, the phone runs on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, one of Qualcomm’s more notable “not-quite-a-flagship but still powerful” SoCs on the market. This is accompanied by up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, a common sight on a lot of newer midrange phones these days.

The phone does excel in other areas though. For example, its 6.78-inch display comes with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz (for supported apps), and a peak brightness of 3600 nits. Perhaps even more impressively, it features an absolutely massive 9000mAh battery, which can charge instantly at 80W speeds. Other features include a dual-camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, an in-display sensor, and IP69K dust and water resistance.
Priced starting at ₹38,999 (that’s around $420), the phone is more affordable than its flagship brethren. That being said, it is currently exclusive for India, although there’s no word yet on availability in other regions.
