If you own a fourth-generation Nest Learning Thermostat, then you might want to check your device for a new update. Google recently announced that it’s rolling out four new “Farsight” faces, which come as a result of team-up with artist Mathilde Loubes.
The company states that it worked with Mathilde in developing a Farsight face that gives the thermostat a more artistic appearance, which includes 12 unique illustrations of different flowers and fruits which come with different animations. The new thermostat faces also update each month, which adds a bit more variety that lasts throughout the year.
Also included with the update are three other styles which consist of a classic Nest face (as a throwback to the original thermostat), a more minimalist face, and a new temperature controller face that allows for quick adjustments. With that being said, users can now head into their thermostat settings to check for the new update and new faces.
In other Google smart home news, the company stated that it’s worked to bring more Gemini-centric features into the Google Home app, following the launch of several new Nest products and its latest smart speaker.
