Sree Thrippurayar Mahadeva Temple, located at Purayar – Chovvara, is conducting the sacred Punyam Punaruddharanam ceremony along with the Thazhikakudam re-installation ritual on March 15, 2026 (Meenam 1, Sunday). This important temple ceremony will take place after the morning Nada Adakkal, and all devotees are invited to participate in the auspicious function.
Punyam Punaruddharanam is a special purification and restoration ritual performed in temples when renovation or repair works are completed. Through this ceremony, the spiritual energy of the temple is renewed according to traditional tantric and Vedic procedures. The Thazhikakudam re-installation is also an important part of temple reconstruction, symbolizing the completion of sacred work on the temple structure.
The ceremony will be conducted with special poojas, mantras, and rituals under the guidance of temple priests. Devotees believe that attending such purification ceremonies brings blessings of Lord Mahadeva, removes obstacles, and ensures peace and prosperity in life.
The temple committee has warmly welcomed all devotees to take part in this holy occasion and receive divine blessings. Participation in Punaruddharana ceremonies is considered highly auspicious, especially in Shiva temples.
All devotees are requested to attend the function at Sree Thrippurayar Mahadeva Temple and be part of this sacred moment.
