Is someone on your shopping list this year a clothing reseller? Do their days revolve around Poshmark, Mercari, eBay and Etsy? If so, I’m hoping I can inspire you with a few gift ideas they’ll love.
I love practical gifts. After all, we all have enough clutter in life. And, if you are like me, clutter causes anxiety. So, let’s cut the fluff this season. These gifts will be used, loved and make thrifting life a lot easier.

Mini Planners/Notebooks
While I make a note in my QuickBooks Self-Employed app of every purchase, I also have a notebook in which I keep the addresses of the sales we are going to each week. I also use it to take notes of purchases. If I ever need to refer back to a certain date in regards to a purchase, I have more than ample information available.
The Focused PetitePlanner from Erin Condren is a good fit for me. It’s a simple, slim design with lined pages and a monthly spread for each month of the year.
If you want something a little more robust or all-encompassing, I highly recommend their monthly planners and LifePlanner as well which I also use.
Sturdy Shopping Bags
Every clothing reseller needs some big bags. It’s a great idea to take your own bags when thrifting – whenever I go to the thrift store it seems like there are never any carts available. There are also packages to be taken to the post office, or at least set out on the porch for the mailman.
The IKEA FRAKTA bags are really popular among the reseller community. They are easy to store, easy to clean, can take a beating and then be recycled. The large bag is 19 gallons! There is also a smaller one that’s 10 gallons.
You can pick them up on the IKEA website for around $1.50. Shipping will run you another $5 or so. You can also pick them up on Amazon.

Inventory Tracker
I prefer to keep my inventory and sales “in the cloud.” (You can pick up my inventory tracker below.) But a lot of sellers prefer good ol’ pen and paper.
Etsy is an awesome place to find Poshmark seller gifts and supplies. I was able to find this nifty Poshmark Listing Bundle over there. It’s an instant download that includes Listing Summary, Listing Tracker, Listing Sheet and Listing Challenge forms.
Shipping Map
Shipping maps are all the craze with resellers on Instagram. Who doesn’t take a peek at that address to see where in the world their goods are off to?
Much like a travel map, your favorite reseller colors in the state of delivery for their latest sale. The goal is to get all 50 states colored in. Challenge accepted!
The one above is a handy-dandy scratch-off framed, customizable map available on Etsy. Choose between gold and silver. When you scratch-off the state, a beautiful floral pattern is revealed. Check it out here.
Label Printer
Thermal printers don’t use any ink at all. In addition to saving money, you also don’t need to worry about them running should they get wet in transit.

Luckily, postal scales are really inexpensive. Above is the one I use.
Thrifting Mug
Coffee mugs are almost always appreciated, especially when they well thought out. I love this one available on Etsy. I just need a matching one that says, “All I do is list, list, list…”
Yeti Lunch Bag
A lady needs to keep her lunch cold and stylish. Yeti makes an awesome little lunch bag that will surely do the trick. Just don’t be insulted if you see it being offered to a new owner when she’s done with it. Yeti products are highly sought after and keep their value. That’s what we do!
Shoulder Massager
It’s adjustable for those of us who get deep knots. It also has a heat setting.
If she loves a good massage, she’ll get your money’s worth out of this gift.
Sherpani Backpack
While I don’t see my backpack available anymore, they do have some great slings. In addition to being less back-breaking, it also comes with safety features like RFID lining to prevent your credit card info from being stolen.
Sherpani bags do come with a lifetime guarantee. I love mine so much I also bought their small crossbody for taking to concerts and games. I’ve also thrifted a few Sherpani bags that resold right away. It’s a great brand!
Amazon Prime
When all else fails, make sure your favorite reseller has an Amazon Prime membership. Almost everything I have needed – and I have needed a lot – has been available on Amazon. And with free overnight shipping available in many locations now, it’s so convenient to be able to get those unexpected or expired supplies before it’s time for the next shipment to go out.
