One of the events that can take place for all characters during the URA Finale career scenario in Umamusume: Pretty Derby is called “Just an Acupuncturist, No Worries” and quite rightly seems suspicious, because it’s a portal to absolute mayhem.
In this event, you find your Trainee beleaguered by an overenthusiastic acupuncturist, who really wants nothing more than to stick some needles into her reluctant patient. The crucial question is: Should you let her do that?
To answer that, you should know all the possible outcomes of the Umamusume Acupuncturist event, which you’ll find below.
Aside from Option 5, each available choice comes with two possible consequences, which are randomly determined. Although these results are weighted in certain ways, making some good consequences more likely for some options, this event is a pure gamble.
Outcomes for Option 1
Outcome #2 is much more likely than Outcome #1.
Outcomes for Option 2
Outcome #1 is slightly more likely than Outcome #2.
Outcomes for Option 3
Outcome #1 is much more likely than Outcome #2.
Outcomes for Option 4
Outcome #1 is much more likely than Outcome #2.
Outcomes for Option 5
If you want to play it really safe, because your current run is going great and you don’t want to ruin it, then Option 5 is the only sane choice.
Options 4 and 3 have the highest likelihood of getting positive outcomes (in that order), while Option 2 is basically a coin flip. Getting the negative result is likeliest for Option 1 — but it’s a risk you might find worth taking in case your run is going badly anyways and you need a hail mary to salvage it. Just be prepared to face a very angry Trainee Umamusume if things go badly.
