pSemi, a leader in capacitor-based power conversion, has introduced two groundbreaking products: the PE26100 multi-level buck converter for direct battery charging and the PE25304 integrated charge-pump switching-capacitor module for high-power robotics and mechatronic applications. These solutions combine high efficiency, compact design, and exceptional thermal performance to solve critical challenges in space-constrained, high-energy systems.

The PE26100 redefines fast-charging for mobile devices. Optimized for smartphones, tablets, and compact electronics, it supports up to 6 A output current and operates in 4-level buck mode for higher USB-PD voltages and 3-level mode for lower inputs. It can also function as a fixed-ratio charge pump for USB PPS, enabling flexible, high-efficiency power delivery in next-generation mobile ecosystems. Its ultra-thin form factor and exceptional thermal performance allow designers to achieve rapid charging without compromising device size or reliability.

The PE25304 extends these benefits to robotics and other mechatronic systems. With 48 V input support, output up to 72 W, a 2 mm ultra-low-profile package, and up to 97% conversion efficiency, it provides compact, high-performance step-down conversion. It is ideal for dexterous hand robotics, drones, medical devices, AI modules, and industrial automation, reducing power loss and thermal buildup in tightly packed assemblies.

The products also included two-stage buck regulators for low-voltage cores, ultra-high efficiency charge pumps for intermediate bus conversion, and two-stage boost LED drivers for low-profile panels, enabling designers to meet a broad range of high-performance power needs.

“By bringing together fast-charging innovation and advanced high-voltage conversion, we’re delivering solutions that open new doors for designers across mobile, robotics, AI, and more,” says Doug Osterhout, Sr. Staff Systems Engineer at pSemi. “Our customers are building some of the most advanced systems in the world, and they need power solutions that deliver uncompromising efficiency in the smallest footprint. The PE26100 and PE25304 were built for exactly that mission.”
