Dharmendra is also set to reunite with Arbaaz Khan for Maine Pyaar Kiya Phir Se. The two actors last worked together in the 1998 blockbuster Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, which featured Kajol and Salman Khan in lead roles. After 27 years, they are collaborating once again for this family drama that also blends thriller elements.
The film is directed by Sabir Sheikh and was originally scheduled for a November 2025 release. However, there has been no recent update on its release date. Arbaaz Khan, who is the son of renowned writer Salim Khan and brother of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, will play the lead role in this project.

There has been considerable confusion around Dharmendra’s current health status in recent days. However, family members including Hema Malini and Esha Deol have confirmed that he is in recovery and stable. They have strongly criticized media outlets for spreading a death hoax without proper verification.
Esha Deol issued an official statement on November 11, 2025, confirming that her father is stable and recovering. Some media portals had incorrectly reported his passing after claiming PR confirmation, but the family has clarified that these reports are completely false. According to the latest update, Dharmendra remains hospitalized at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai for respiratory issues but is making progress with treatment.
