Terminator: Survivors puts players in an open-world survival experience set within the Terminator universe, unfolding in the aftermath of Judgment Day.
Originally slated to enter early access on PC in 2024 – although those plans have since changed – , fans of the iconic franchise may be curious about potential plans for its release on the Xbox Series X/S.
Will Terminator: Survivors be released on Xbox Series X?
Nacon has confirmed that versions for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S are currently in development. The latter’s release date is, however, unknown at the moment, following the game being indefinitely delayed in late 2025.
- Terminator: Survivors Xbox Series X/S Release Date: TBA
The delay announcement also confirmed that Terminator: Survivors’ 4-player co-op multiplayer mode was scrapped, turning the upcoming title into a fully single-player experience.
Instead of first becoming available in early access, it will now also skip that step, since developer Nacon Studio Milan “wants [our] first steps into the wasteland to be a complete and polished experience.”
When Terminator: Survivors releases, we will have a home base to develop, with essential materials forming the foundation for building defenses, weapons, and equipment necessary to withstand the relentless assault of deadly Terminators lurking in the wilderness.
Crossplay support hasn’t been detailed yet between the PC and console versions, although we expect to find out more in the future, when we’ll hopefully also learn new details on the Xbox Series X/S release.
There are no plans to release it on the Xbox One.
