Wuthering Waves Version 2.5, Unfading Melody of Life, is set to be released on July 24, 2025, and features a long-awaited Resonator from the ranks of the Fractsidus on its banners.
Phrolova will be a 5-Star character dealing Havoc DMG and wielding a Rectifier, but she won’t be the only Resonator available during the update: Three prominent Rinascita characters will return the banners for reruns.

Starting on July 24, 2025, with the release of Wuthering Waves 2.5, the following characters and weapons will be up for grabs:
Phrolova is a new Main DPS specializing in dealing Resonance Skill DMG, though she’s able to amplify her team’s Havoc and Heavy Attack DMG as well, sporting some supporting abilities. In this regard, Roccia is a wonderful fit for her as a Sub DPS, since she benefits greatly from both of these elements.
Phase 2 will begin on August 14, 2025, (though note that this might be subject to change, since it appears that Version 2.5’s total duration may stray from the usual six weeks) and feature the following characters and weapons:
Cantarella is another excellent addition to Phrolova’s merry band, being a healer and support with the ability to amplify Havoc and Resonance Skill DMG. Brant fills a similar role, though he only amplifies Fusion DMG and is therefore not suited for a Phrolova team.
