الدولار الأمريكي يواصل ارتفاعه مع صدور بيانات اقتصادية وترقّب نتائج القمة الأمريكية الصينية – أخبار السعودية

سجّلت العملة الأمريكية ارتفاعًا مقابل سلة من العملات الرئيسية اليوم، وللجلسة الرابعة على التوالي، مدعومة ببيانات اقتصادية قوية قلصت من احتمالات خفض أسعار الفائدة من قبل مجلس الاحتياطي الاتحادي.

وأظهرت بيانات وزارة التجارة الأمريكية ارتفاع مبيعات التجزئة بنسبة 0.5% خلال الشهر الماضي، متماشية مع تقديرات الخبراء، فيما كشفت وزارة العمل استقرار سوق العمل مع بلوغ طلبات إعانة البطالة 211 ألف طلب. كما سجلت أسعار الواردات زيادة بنسبة 1.9%، متأثرة بارتفاع تكاليف الوقود، ما عزز من مخاوف التضخم لدى المستثمرين.

وعلى صعيد التداولات، ارتفع مؤشر الدولار بنسبة 0.37% ليصل إلى 98.83 نقطة، فيما انخفض اليورو بنسبة 0.29% ليصل إلى 1.1676 دولار، وتراجع الجنيه الإسترليني بنسبة 0.94% ليغلق عند 1.3395 دولار.

وفي أسواق الطاقة، سجلت أسعار النفط تذبذبًا إثر التوترات الجيوسياسية في منطقة الشرق الأوسط، حيث بلغ سعر خام برنت 105.95 دولار للبرميل، بالتزامن مع ترقب الأسواق نتائج القمة التي جمعت الزعيمين الأمريكي والصيني لبحث عدد من الملفات السياسية والاقتصادية العالقة بين البلدين.

The US dollar recorded an increase against a basket of major currencies today, for the fourth consecutive session, supported by strong economic data that reduced the likelihood of interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve.

Data from the US Department of Commerce showed that retail sales rose by 0.5% last month, in line with experts’ estimates, while the Department of Labor revealed stability in the labor market with unemployment claims reaching 211,000. Import prices also recorded an increase of 1.9%, influenced by rising fuel costs, which heightened inflation concerns among investors.

In trading, the dollar index rose by 0.37% to reach 98.83 points, while the euro fell by 0.29% to reach $1.1676, and the British pound declined by 0.94% to close at $1.3395.

In energy markets, oil prices fluctuated due to geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, with Brent crude reaching $105.95 per barrel, coinciding with market anticipation of the results of the summit that brought together the American and Chinese leaders to discuss several political and economic issues pending between the two countries.
