Secret Lives of Mormon WivesMikayla Matthews shut down claims that she’s not supporting Taylor Frankie Paul and Jessi Draper.

Matthews, 26, is “fed up” after seeing comments suggesting she isn’t standing by her costars Paul, 31, and Draper, 33, amid their respective healing journeys. On Thursday, May 6, Matthews clapped back at a fan who claimed Draper “liked” an Instagram post about MomTok members not “posting support” on her and Paul’s accounts.

“It’s wild how the minute you and Taylor do things the other MomTok members don’t agree with, they stop posting ‘support’ on all your posts,” the fan commented, “Life is messy, true friends don’t bail when it gets messy. It actually says way more about who they are.”

Matthews replied to the matter, “Interesting…”

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Mikayla Matthews is sharing her reaction to MomTok’s drama-filled week. The stars of the hit Hulu reality show have scarcely been out of the headlines in the past week. To recap: First, there was the alleged domestic violence incident involving Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen that put a […]

Another Mormon Wives fan then wondered why Matthews was now addressing the matter, to which the Hulu star replied, “Because I’m fed up.”

Matthews fired back at another comment that called her “very rude” while advising that she focus on her own marriage and healing journey, writing, “Gotta love a biased double standard 🙃 I’d genuinely love to see how you’d handle being in the same position we’re in.” (Matthews has been candid about her marriage struggles with husband Jace Terry, as well as her chronic illness, which causes skin flare-ups.)

She added, “If you feel entitled to comment on our life, don’t be surprised when we respond. I’m not someone who switches up my opinions just to save face online. If you don’t like it, feel free to scroll instead of leaving a snide comment on a post about me ❤️.”

Mikayla set the record straight about where she stands amid Draper’s divorce from estranged husband Jordan Ngatikaura, and Paul’s court appearances with her ex Dakota Mortensen following a domestic violence investigation stemming from incidents that took place in February.

On April 14, district attorney Sim Gill’s office said in a statement obtained by Us Weekly that Paul would not be charged.

“After reviewing reports and evidence submitted to the Draper Police Department and West Jordan Police Department, the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office has declined to file charges against Taylor Frankie Paul,” the statement read.

Paul said she “cried” when she got the news.

Draper, for her part, broke her silence after Ngatikaura, 28, filed for divorce in March, during an episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast.

“In the last year, I’ve told him, actually, a few different times, I want to get divorced. But he always calms me down,” she said. “I did end it with him, so I knew it was coming, but we had made an agreement to do it together, and he blindsided me and filed because he wanted the headline first.”

She continued, “While our paths are now moving in different directions, my priority remains my children and ensuring they feel loved, supported, and protected through this transition.”
