CTET 2026 Notification: The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026 notification is expected to be released soon by the Central Board of Secondary Education for candidates who want to become teachers in central government schools such as Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti and other schools accepting CTET scores. CTET is conducted for two papers — Paper 1 for candidates who want to teach Classes 1 to 5 and Paper 2 for candidates who want to teach Classes 6 to 8. CTET 2026 Eligibility Details

For Paper 1 (Class 1 to 5 Teacher)

Qualification
12th Pass with minimum required marks and D.El.Ed / BTC / JBT / B.El.Ed / Diploma in Elementary Education

For Paper 2 (Class 6 to 8 Teacher)

Qualification
Graduation degree with B.Ed / D.El.Ed / B.Ed Special Education or equivalent qualification

For Both Papers

Candidates who fulfill eligibility for both levels can apply for both Paper 1 and Paper 2.

CTET 2026 Age Limit
