Heroic is under fire after sharing a controversial tweet that divided the esports community.
Earlier today, Heroic tweeted a simple question: “T**s or a**?” To represent the former, Heroic attached an image of Sydney Sweeney with a low-cut shimmery dress. For the latter, Heroic shared the Team Falcons logo.
It was meant to be a snarky tweet aimed at its Counter-Strike 2 rival, but many found it distasteful.

Did Heroic take it too far?
Rivalry is a fun part of the esports community. Everyone remembers that time G2 Esports flew a plane over Berlin with a banner that read “F*** SENTINELS.” Trash talking and saltiness make esports fun, bringing in the grunginess of gaming into a more professional atmosphere.
Well, is it professional?
Heroic’s latest tweet has people wondering just that. Many called out Heroic for not being professional and called for esports as a whole to be more professional. Many fans lament that this immaturity holds esports back from being welcomed into mainstream media and pop culture, keeping the scene feeling juvenile and unwelcoming.
This tweet in particular felt a bit tasteless, especially given that esports is often called out for its sexist environment. Objectifying women and making a tweet that’s sexual in nature didn’t hit for some people in the esports industry.
The other issue? Heroic isn’t even doing well in Counter-Strike right now, not even compared to Team Falcons. They recently bombed out of PGL Astana.
Said one comment on Reddit: “It’s funny when a team talks s*** about a grand finalist while they only have one victory in the same tournament. Not like I support Falcons or anything, but still it’s hilarious.”
While some found the post hilarious, it was overall a miss for Heroic, given the current esports landscape and the team’s poor performance as of late.
