Reports reveal that the Galaxy S27 Ultra is likely to bring three rear-facing cameras. The reports further show that the device won’t feature tadedicated telephoto camera with a 3x optical zoom lens. This implies that there will be more space for other significant upgrades, if the device does not come with this camera type.
A South Korean tipster reveals that the Galaxy S27 Ultra will bring a redesigned rear-facing camera layout. Thus, the removal of the 3x telephoto camera will create the internal space for other hardware upgrades like a larger battery as well as a lighter overall design.

Still, according to the tipster, Samsung plans to unveil a brand new model, the Galaxy S27 Pro, in 2027. It’s expected that the device will bring a display measuring about 6.4 inches diagonally, plus a camera setup that’s like that of the Galaxy S27 Ultra, and larger camera sensors. Though it’s exclusive to the Ultra model and lacks S Pen support.
Due to cost-related concerns, there won’t be any significant display upgrades in the Galaxy S27 series, compared to the Galaxy S26 lineup.
