Job is one of the most successful sim racers representing the esports branch of Red Bull’s F1 team. Since joining in 2019, Job has achieved championship wins on iRacing, RENNSPORT and the F1 Sim Racing World Championship.

Alongside competing in sim racing events, Job was the focus of Game to Glory, a video series that saw him transfer his virtual skills into driving real-world racing cars. At the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria, Job got his first taste of F1 machinery, driving the RB8 driven by four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel in the 2012 season.

“I am extremely proud and honoured to be back in the RB8 again, especially for such a historic event to celebrate 75 years of F1 at Goodwood Festival of Speed,” said Job.

“Never in a million years would I expect to be in this position, so I’m going to really savour the moment. A massive thank you to the team for providing me with this opportunity.”

Sim Racing And Real World Motorsport

Job is the latest example of sim racing cultivating talent capable of performing in real-world motorsport. The Red Bull sim racer joins the likes of Chris Lulham, who is competing in the GT World Challenge Europe series under the Verstappen.com Racing banner.

In recent years, sim racers have managed to transition their virtual skills into the real world. Alongside Job and Lulham, the likes of James Baldwin and Jann Mardenborough have competed across several international racing series, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Spa 24 Hours.
