‘Maratha Military Landscapes’ now included in the UNESCO list of heritage sites

The Landscapes, consisting of 12 major fortifications, 11 in Maharashtra and 1 in Tamil Nadu, were included on the World Heritage List. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urged everyone to visit the forts and learn about the rich history of the Maratha Empire.
