Box Office Worldwide has exclusively learned that the director is in discussions with Aanand L Rai’s Colour Yellow for a new action drama, a development that immediately raises the temperature on the banner’s genre ambitions and Nambiar’s own next creative move.
The pairing already carries weight. Tu Yaa Main gave both filmmaker and studio a slick, high-concept thriller space to play in, and this latest development suggests that first collaboration was not a one-off experiment. This time, the tonal shift is sharper, with the new film expected to move away from romance-led survival tension and into darker, more action-driven terrain.
