Disney just cranked up the price on Disney Plus again, and honestly, it’s starting to feel like clockwork. Come October, you’ll be paying more for your Marvel movies and Star Wars shows. The ad-supported plan jumps from $9.99 to $11.99 a month, while the premium tier hits $18.99. This marks Disney’s third October price increase in three years.
The new prices kick in October 21, 2025, hitting both new and existing subscribers. Bundle plans are getting hit too. The Disney Plus and Hulu combo with ads goes from $10.99 to $12.99 monthly. If you want the premium bundle without ads, you’re looking at $24.99.
Last time Disney raised prices, they lost 700,000 subscribers. Now they’re rolling the dice again with another increase. Disney isn’t alone in this either. Netflix, Apple TV Plus, and pretty much every streaming service has been jacking up prices this year. The streaming wars aren’t so budget friendly anymore.
So, what are your options? The Disney Plus and Hulu bundle is still your best bet if you want both services. Or you could wait and see if competition forces better deals. Either way, streaming apps for Android are getting pricier across the board. The price increase hits during your next billing cycle after October 21. Time to decide if those Marvel shows are worth the extra cash.
