Honor’s flagship smartphone, the Magic8 Pro, has now joined the Android 17 beta program and is eligible to receive Android 17 Beta 3.
Honor confirmed in a press release that developers can now download the Android 17 Beta 3 on the Magic8 Pro to test new features, evaluate app compatibility, and prepare their apps for the upcoming Android release.

Honor mentioned some Android 17 Beta 3 features, such as system-wide Bubbles, support for the RAW14 image format, expanded UI customization options, improved system controls, a more comprehensive Dark theme, and enhanced privacy and security features.
To install the Android 17 Beta 3 update, the Honor Magic8 Pro must be running software version 10.0.0.162 (C636E4R105P2H2) or later.Android 17 Beta 3 was released in late March, with the first QPR1 beta update following in April. The stable public release will probably roll out in September.
