One thing that Blizzard consistently nails is cosmetics, and Overwatch 2 is full of them. From fun highlight intros to weapon charms and unique skins for every hero on the roster, there’s no shortage of ways to stand out in your matches.
But nothing tops Mythic Skins. These rare cosmetics are packed with character, starring custom SFX, unique effects, and layered customisation, making them the most sought-after skins in the game. But how do you get them? Here’s everything you need to know about Mythic Skins in Overwatch 2.
Mythic Skins in Overwatch 2
Mythic Skins are the highest-tier skins in Overwatch 2, behind Legendary, offering even more customisation options, unique SFX, various colourways, and other exclusive effects. Typically, Mythic Skins will have a thematic alignment to their respective season. For example, the Adventurer Tracer skin released in Season 5, which reimagined the hero shooter as a fantastical, D&D-style escapade, made the time-travelling Brit look like a knight in shining armour.
As of July 2025, there are now 17 different Mythic Skins available in Overwatch 2. We’ve listed them all below in order of their release from Season 1 to Season 17.

How do you get them?

When Mythic Skins were first released in Season 1, they were the reward for completing the Premium Battle Pass, available at Tier 80. However, Season 10 changed how players get their hands on Mythics, introducing the Mythic Shop and Mythic Prisms, a premium currency.
Luckily, though, Blizzard didn’t leave players high and dry. Mythic Prisms are available by completing the Premium Battle Pass – enough to fully unlock one Mythic Skin and all its customisation levels.
Here are the Overwatch 2 Mythic Skins price points:
Mythic Prism Bundles | Price (GBP) | Price (USD) |
---|---|---|
10 | £8.49 | $9.99 |
30 | £20.49 | $24.99 |
50 | £34.99 | $39.99 |
100 | £61.99 | $74.99 |
The current season’s Mythic Skin is featured in the Mythic Shop, where players can also browse and buy (almost all) Mythics from previous seasons.
There are also optional add-ons, called Mythic Aspects, as alternate colourways. So far, we have Gilded (metallic black-and-gold accents) and Iridescent (shiny purple palette with pastel pink and blue accents). Mythic Aspects are only available once a Mythic has been fully levelled up, costing 20 Mythic Prisms each.
Mythic Weapons in Overwatch 2

Like Mythic Skins, Mythic Weapons are premium cosmetics that jazz up certain heroes’ weapons with unique visuals. They were introduced in Season 11, with a new Mythic Weapon launching each season.
Mythic Weapons cost 80 Mythic Prisms to fully unlock all customisation levels.
- Tier 1: Base Weapon (50 Mythic Prisms)
- Tier 2: Elimination Reactivity (10 Mythic Prisms)
- Tier 3: Weapon Flourish Animation (10 Mythic Prisms)
- Tier 4: Kill/Assist Effect Animation (10 Mythic Prisms)
Here are all seven Mythic Weapons currently in Overwatch 2:
Mythic Weapon | Corresponding Hero | Season |
---|---|---|
Bound Demon | Reinhardt | 11 |
Midnight Sun | Ana | 12 |
Deliverance | Soldier: 76 | 13 |

Which OW2 Mythic skins are worth it?
5. A-7000 Wargod Ana

A-7000 Wargod Ana sees the biotic sniper reimagined completely as a ruthless Omnic. According to the official description, the A-7000 unit was a failed attempt to replicate the consciousness of Ana Amari inside a robotic frame.
Although the metallic frame gained Ana’s sniper skills, fragments of Amari’s memories corrupted the frame’s data stores as referenced in some of her “glitchy” voice lines, particularly if she eliminates Pharah (her in-lore daughter). A-7000 Wargod is the perfect Mythic skin for support players who like a side of lore and worldbuilding in their matches.
4. Cyber Demon Genji

The first-ever Mythic skin, Cyber Demon Genji, still holds up in 2025, cited by many as one of the best skins in the entire game – and for good reason. Genji’s cyberpunk, high-tech Oni aesthetic is instantly iconic, complete with glowing blade effects, tattoos, vibrant neon colourways, and unique SFX.
Cyber Demon Genji set the gold standard for what Mythics in Overwatch 2 can be. And if you hear him call out his Dragonblade mid-fight, you’ll want to run in the opposite direction.
3. Ancient Caller Moira

Ancient Caller Moira is pure nightmare fuel – in the best possible way. This Mythic ditches science for sorcery, reimagining the cold, calculated geneticist as an eldritch horror. Dressed in flowing robes, her entire aura drips with dark magic, enhanced by her skin-specific voicelines and SFX.
She has three distinct masks, each making her seem even more soulless than her default look (who knew that was possible?). Ancient Caller is the perfect fit for Moira mains, especially those who enjoy DPS’ing over healing their teammates.
2. Thor Reinhardt

Thor Reinhardt channels the power of Asgard with this thunderous Mythic skin, all while wielding the power of Mjolnir. His armour crackles with lightning effects with legitimate runes, his hammer glows, and his voicelines send his enemies scattering.
It’s one of the most detailed Mythics in the game, with customisations for his armour, helmet, skin effects, and colours available. Thor Reinhardt is a must-have for tank mains who want to bring the thunder (literally) every time they drop their shield and use Earthshatter.
1. Heart of Hope Juno

The Heart of Hope Juno skin is perfect for fans of magical anime girls and Sailor Moon. Inspired by magical girl anime like Sailor Moon, this skin is part of the DokiWatch alt-universe, where Juno, her girlpower squad, and animal familiars fight against the Hollow Hearts
Each Mythic Tier tells a visual story as she balances Light and Woe. With heart-shaped projectiles, flashy VFX, and her Orbital Ray ult transformed into the “Hopeful Heart Beam,” Heart of Hope Juno is easily the best Mythic currently in the game.
Conclusion
Mythic Skins are the best thing that’s happened to Overwatch since loot boxes, even if they come with a hefty Mythic Prisms price tag. With deep customisation options and extra flair for each hero, no two Mythics ever feel the same.
If your main doesn’t have a Mythic Skin or Weapon just yet, don’t worry. Blizzard’s goal is to give every hero their time to shine, so no one gets left behind. If you’re looking to stay ahead in ranked, check out our current Overwatch 2 tier list for picks and tips.
