Resident Alien season 4, episode 5 delivers one of the best entries in the new season so far, with big reveals and even bigger laughs throughout.

Resident Alien Season 4, Episode 6 Pulls At The Heartstrings
While Resident Alien is very comfortable leaning into absurdist humor and playing up goofiness for laughs, it’s episodes like this that show just how powerful the writing can be, and the depth of the connections between the characters and audience. By all accounts, Harry Vanderspeigle is not particularly nice. But after embracing his human side, the character experiences incredible growth that doesn’t feel silly or undeserved.
Resident Alien season 4, episode 6 is incredibly effective and an all-around stunning piece of television.
Meanwhile, D’Arcy, who has been a lively and fun character from the start, begins to acknowledge a well of pain and suffering that exists beneath her unserious attitude. Every element of this episode is heart-wrenching; it soars to incredible highs and sinks to painful lows, but throughout it all, it hits home.
In short, this may be one of the best episodes of the series, not just the season. It gives space for the wonderful cast to really showcase how talented they are beyond delivering hilarious comedy beats. Resident Alien season 4, episode 6 is incredibly effective and an all-around stunning piece of television.
Harry Will Finally Get His Alien Form Back, Assuming The Executor Agrees
While the first third of the season slowly laid the building blocks for the season’s biggest developments, episode 6 races to put everything in place with exciting results. The Mantid appears to have survived his earlier attack, and he has the means to take over the planet. And Harry is within reach of getting his alien form back. However, all that stands in his way is the executor (who’s Harry’s father), who chooses when to give it to him.
Resident Alien season 4, episode 6 has it all, and it deserves to be acknowledged as one of the best episodes of the series.
As much as Harry has grown a soul and become a caring father, the rest of his race appears to have very different family values. All of these narratives are on a collision course, which adds to the drama and excitement for the upcoming episodes as the season moves toward what promises to be an incredibly packed ending.
With the pace picking up, the writing continues to deliver laugh-out-loud moments, such as aliens incorrectly assessing human anatomy during Harry’s big speech, and deeply moving ones, with a heart-to-heart between Harry and D’Arcy that is incredibly vulnerable. Resident Alien season 4, episode 6 has it all, and it deserves to be acknowledged as one of the best episodes of the series.
Resident Alien season 4 airs weekly every Friday at 11pm ET on Syfy and USA Network.
