Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication with a minimum of 3+ years of experience (preferably in Power Electronics).
Key Responsibilities
- Design PCB layouts for SMPS and power supply circuits with a focus on efficiency, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Convert electrical schematics into optimised PCB designs using tools such as Altium, Protel/Advance Protel, Eagle, KiCad, and OrCAD.
- Ensure proper component placement, track width calculations, creepage and clearance compliance, and effective thermal management.
- Implement proper grounding techniques and signal routing practices to minimise EMI/EMC noise and interference.
- Prepare complete manufacturing outputs, including Gerber files, layer stack-up details, and PCB fabrication documentation.
- Collaborate closely with R&D engineers to implement design changes and continuous improvements.
- Review PCB prototypes and support troubleshooting of layout-related issues during testing and validation.
Skills & Requirements
- Diploma from a Government Polytechnic or B.Tech in Electronics or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience in PCB layout design for power electronics applications (preferred).
- Strong proficiency in PCB design tools with a solid understanding of electrical schematics.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role or industry.
