Qatar’s Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani took part in the opening of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2026, held from 17 to 19 April in the Turkish city of Antalya under the theme “Mapping Tomorrow, Managing Uncertainties”.
The fifth edition of the forum has brought together participants from more than 150 countries, including heads of state and government, ministers, diplomats and international organisations, to discuss global challenges and shifting geopolitical dynamics.
The gathering serves as a key platform for international dialogue, focusing on rising global uncertainty, strategic rivalries and the need for stronger multilateral cooperation.

On the sidelines of the forum, the Amir held a trilateral meeting with President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif.
The leaders discussed the latest regional and international developments, particularly in the Middle East, and reviewed efforts aimed at de-escalation and enhancing regional stability.
They also exchanged views on issues of mutual concern and stressed the importance of continued coordination to address shared challenges and strengthen security at both regional and global levels.
In a post on X, the Amir said discussions at the forum focused on anticipating future challenges amid global uncertainty, expressing hope that it would contribute to advancing dialogue and mutual understanding between nations.
