On its website, Nikola ‘NiKo’ Kovač, nine-time Counter-Strike Championship MVP, said: “This new wireless tech is lightning fast—no lag, just pure speed. Feels like I’m always ahead of the game.”
The mouse comes in two colours, Black (56g) and white (57g), and is lighter than its predecessor. It uses Razer HyperSpeed wireless gen-two technology, allowing for 63% more efficient wireless connection and 37% lower latency compared to its predecessor, and is capable of reaching 8000 Hz polling rate.
The Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro mouse features three display lights to indicate the status of the device. It shows connection status, with four levels ranging from Excellent to poor; battery life ranging from 100% to 25%, and polling rate from 8000hz to 125hz.
The mouse is also stated to have up to 150 hours of battery life, eight programmable buttons, and 100% PTFE feet. It also has a smart polling rate switcher, allowing you to customise polling rates for specific games.
On the website, Lotan ‘Spinx’ Giladi, professional Counter-Strike 2 player, said: “Solid switches. You can really feel each click, and that feedback never gets old.”
Razer in Esports
Over the years, Razer has made its presence more widespread in esports, whether it comes to sponsorships, partnering with esports organisations and players, or other promotional endeavours.
Razer was recently announced as a multi-category sponsor for 100-Thieves, providing headsets, controllers, and chairs for the organisation’s teams. It was also revealed to be one of the many sponsors for 100 Thieves’ Summer Block Party taking place on July 26th, 2025.
The gaming peripheral brand has also worked with professional players in the esports scene. Earlier this year, Razer celebrated its 10-year partnership with the iconic League of Legends T1 player, Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok. To commemorate this, the duo released a special edition Viper V3 Pro mouse with a crimson body.
