Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has gone live with a new digital contracting service for the 1448 AH Umrah season, built on the Masar Nusuk platform.

The service covers the full qualification and contracting process for approved external agents, removing the need for manual paperwork at every stage.

What the New System Does

Every stage of the contracting process is now handled digitally through Masar Nusuk.

Contracts follow a unified electronic model and are verified using a QR code tied to the Nusuk platform, giving agents and authorities a fast, trackable way to confirm agreement details.

A separate service for Saudi Umrah companies will also go live through the same platform, allowing them to sign contracts directly with local service providers.

This covers accommodation, transportation, catering, value-added services, and the creation of packages and programmes for pilgrims heading to Masjid al-Haram (Grand Mosque) in Makkah and Masjid an-Nabawi (Prophet’s Mosque) in Madinah.

Visa application submissions open on May 31, 2026, corresponding to 14 Dhul Hijjah 1447 AH. Umrah permit issuance through the Nusuk app begins the following day, June 1, 2026, on 15 Dhul Hijjah.

What This Means for Agents and Pilgrims

TAgents can complete qualification and contracting steps without separate paperwork or manual verification, while pilgrims benefit from faster, more organised processing ahead of their journey.
