I started my career in digital marketing back in 2016. I was fresh out of college, didn’t know much about content, so I had to learn from people who had been in the market for years.
And what I learned was less ‘strategy’ and more ‘ritual sacrifice to the Google gods.’
Here’s what it looked like.
Start with a spreadsheet of keywords. Pick a mid-length one. Shove it into the title, meta description, first paragraph, subheadings, and wherever you can fit it.
Then you write about 800–1000 words of vaguely related fluff and call it a day. Consider adding a few internal links and a stock image if you’re feeling creative. To be a pro, also add keywords in the image meta tags.
Now imagine giving those same people a tool that can generate 5,000 keyword-stuffed articles an hour. Then, they would be ruling the Google SERP. So why aren’t they?
Let me ask you something.
How long did it take for ChatGPT to reach 1 million users? 5 days. And within 2 months, it gathered 200 million users. And that was three years ago.
It was my elaborate way of saying that AI isn’t a secret weapon anymore. In fact…
