There is something disarmingly old school about a new age love story that refuses to chase perfection. With Mumbai as its moody, lived-in canvas, Do Deewane Seher Mein is pitching romance that is flawed, messy and achingly human, and it is ready to meet audiences in cinemas on February 20, 2026.

The film pairs Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur for the first time, introducing them as Shashank and Roshni in the makers’ recently rolled-out promo materials that lean into the idea of “imperfectly perfect” love. Backed by Bhansali Productions and Zee Studios, and directed by Ravi Udyawar, the film is positioned as a Valentine-season theatrical play that banks on emotion and music rather than gimmicks.

Latest Update: Do Deewane Seher Mein Confirms 20 February Theatrical Release

The makers have officially dated Do Deewane Seher Mein for a worldwide theatrical release on February 20, 2026. The announcement spotlights Siddhant as Shashank and Mrunal as Roshni, framing their connection as something that grows inside the noise, loneliness and possibility of the city.

The project also comes with a personal note from Siddhant, who wrote on Instagram Stories that the film is “so close to my heart,” adding, “I’ll be honest. I was going through something of my own while shooting for this one. And the journey somewhere healed me. I hope it does the same to you.” In the same message, he summed up the film’s romantic thesis: “They say there’s nothing such as perfect, all you need is Someone imperfect worth fighting for.”

In another promotional beat around the trailer, the makers captioned the film’s mood with a line that has quickly become its calling card: “Perfect love is overrated. Real love is not.”
