A new compact DC-powered power unit brings remote monitoring, universal compatibility, and intelligent energy management to enhance static control, packaging, and contamination prevention in modern electronics production lines.

Meech International has launched its latest innovation — the 906 Hyperion 24V Power Supply Unit (PSU) — a compact, high-voltage AC power source with a 24VDC input tailored for today’s electronics manufacturing challenges. It replaces the legacy 904 and 905 models with modern enhancements. Built for global compatibility, it runs on a universal 24VDC input, eliminating the need for region-specific models. Its compact footprint and backward-compatible mounting make it ideal for retrofitting legacy lines, helping factories upgrade static control capabilities without complex re-engineering.Electronics manufacturing environments are especially sensitive to static buildup, which can silently degrade ICs or halt production through dust contamination.
The key features are:
- Adjustable output range: 2–7 kVAC
- Powers up to 4 AC ionising devices simultaneously
- Smart features:Remote control functionality, System health monitoring, Energy-saving standby mode
- Designed to minimise maintenance and reduce power usage
Traditional AC-powered units are vulnerable to fluctuations; by contrast, Meech’s DC-powered PSU offers stable, clean power delivery—critical for consistent ionisation in sensitive environments. Further, the PSU is engineered to withstand extreme temperatures up to 85°C, meeting the needs of regions with high ambient heat, such as India. Built-in fault detection and thermal shutdown capabilities ensure resilience in tough operating conditions, while remote alerts enable predictive maintenance and minimal downtime. For manufacturers, the PSU delivers smarter static control with greater uptime, simplified integration, and global versatility. Whether upgrading from older units or integrating into new lines, it supports cleaner, more reliable production and aligns with the industry’s move toward zero-defect electronics.
“The 906 is engineered for the way modern factories operate — globally, digitally, and under pressure to perform,” said Ian Atkinson, Sales Director at Meech. “It simplifies static control without compromising reliability or flexibility.” With more than 18 months of R&D behind it, PSU offers a future-ready solution for static management across packaging, contamination control, and electronics assembly lines.
