Disney+ has a wide variety of TV shows ready to stream and covering different genres, making sure that all its subscribers will find something that suits their taste. In 2019, Disney joined the world of streaming with its own platform, simply named Disney+. The platform has all of Disney’s classic movies, most of its Disney Channel content, titles from its Fox branch, franchises like Star Wars and Marvel, and original content for both children and adults.
Disney+, then, has one of the most varied catalogs in the world of streaming, and it’s mostly driven by nostalgia, with the studio’s classic animated movies and Disney Channel TV shows, among other examples. Star Wars: The Acolyte
Set before the Skywalker saga, at the end of the High Republic, Star Wars: The Acolyte follows Sol (Lee Jung-jae), a respected Jedi Master investigating a series of crimes. This leads him to reunite with his former Padawan, Osha (Amandla Stenberg), and together they discover some dark secrets and sinister forces.
The Replacements
The Replacements is an animated TV show that follows orphaned siblings Todd and Riley, who order a Fleemco phone from an ad. This phone allows them to replace any person or animal they want, and so they go through different fun situations as they try to improve their lives by replacing what they want, but this often doesn’t go well. In addition to that, Todd and Riley are adopted by a British secret agent and a professional daredevil.
Fish Hooks
Fish Hooks is an animated TV show that takes the audience into an aquarium at Bud’s Pets to meet fish Milo, his brother Oscar, and their best friend Bea. Fish Hooks follows their daily lives, as well as those of other fish and sea creatures at the aquarium, as they go through the ups and downs of school, being teenagers, friendships, romance, and more.
Hannah Montana
Hannah Montana follows Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus), a 14-year-old girl with a seemingly normal life, but in reality, she lives a double life. Miley is the famous pop singer Hannah Montana. Her best friend Lily (Emily Osment) uncovers the truth and keeps her secret, and together, along with Miley’s family, they go through different fun situations while Miley and Lily also navigate being teenagers and everything that comes with that.
The Proud Family
The Proud Family is an animated sitcom that introduces the audience to Penny Proud, a 14-year-old Black teenage girl with a very peculiar family. The show follows Penny as she navigates her teenage years, friendships, school, and her family dynamics, with the rest of the Proud family bringing both laughs and valuable life lessons.
Big City Greens
Big City Greens is an animated TV show that follows the Green family: father Bill, grandmother Alice, daughter Tilly, and son Cricket. The Greens move from the country town of Smalton into Big City, leaving farm life behind and adapting to the rhythm and chaos of the city. The Greens have different misadventures around the city (together and on their own), with Cricket bringing a good dose of chaotic fun.
Hawkeye
Hawkeye is a miniseries part of the MCU (more specifically, of Phase Four). Set after the events of Avengers: Endgame, Hawkeye follows Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) as he teams up with young and skilled archer Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) to take down a group of criminals connected to his past and to Kate’s family. In the process, Kate becomes Clint’s trainee.

Star vs the Forces of Evil is an animated fantasy TV show that takes viewers into the dimension of Mewni to meet the heiress to the royal throne of the Butterfly Kingdom, Star Butterfly. On her 14th birthday, Star is given her family’s heirloom wand, but after accidentally setting the castle on fire (on top of a track record of chaos), she’s sent to Earth to continue her magical training there. Posing as a foreign exchange student, Star stays with Marco Diaz and his family, forming a strong bond with him and going on different magical adventures together.
Andi Mack
Andi Mack is a family comedy-drama TV show that follows 13-year-old Andi Mack (Peyton Elizabeth Lee), who, on her birthday, learns that her sister, Bex, is actually her mother. If this shake-up in her family dynamic wasn’t enough, Andi also has to deal with everything that comes with being a teenager, including her feelings for Jonah, whom her best friend Cyrus is also crushing on.
