Doonpur was a beautiful and peaceful forest filled with animals like deer, cows, lions, monkeys, and rabbits. All the animals lived happily and were content with their lives. However, there was one exception – a small deer named Dolly.
Dolly lived with her parents, Dhollu and Molly. She was very naughty and stubborn, often troubling other animals. She would quarrel with young ones, snatch their food, and create disturbances. Many animals complained about her behavior. Her parents repeatedly advised her to behave well and respect others, but Dolly never listened. She was also very curious and always wanted to explore new things.
One day, Dolly expressed her wish to go to the town and make a big life for herself. Her father gently explained that she was too young and should first gain experience in the forest. He assured her that she could go later when she was older. But Dolly refused to listen.
That very night, she secretly left Doonpur and ran towards the town. On her way, she became tired, hungry, and thirsty. After wandering for a while, she saw a group of cows near a river and went there to drink water. Unfortunately, a cowboy noticed her and captured her in a net, thinking of her as his meal.
Trapped and helpless, Dolly realized her mistake. She regretted not listening to her parents, but it was too late.
