With P5X’s recent Version 1.1 update comes the Metro of Desire, a roguelike mode you can play to gain some great rewards to help build your team, as well as put your skills to the test. With P5X still being in its early stages, not everyone has reached the point where they can unlock it yet, so we’ll explain how to unlock it so you can dive into this endlessly replayable mode.
There are two main requirements for unlocking this mode:
To be clear, the first time to enter the Palace via Mementos as part of the story counts as “starting” it for the purposes of this, even if you can’t yet freely explore it. Once you do, you’ll find a side mission appear in your log that will direct you to Lufel, and he will then take you through the tutorial for the mode. Once you’ve finished that quest, you’ll be able to play it to your heart’s content, as it doesn’t cost Stamina or any other resource to play.
If you do unlock it at Level 32, then it might be worth waiting until you hit Level 35 before diving into your first run, as you’ll unlock P5X’s Revelation Cards at that level, which will make you a lot more powerful.
