Lauds CM’s decisive action to eliminate Naxalism in the state

Raipur, Chhattisgarh – Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai was felicitated by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. A joint delegation of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and gau-rakshaks congratulated him for taking historic steps, including the implementation of an anti-conversion law and efforts towards making the state Naxal-free.

The delegation stated that ending Naxalism, which had affected the state for decades, and introducing laws to curb activities such as ‘love jihad’ and religious conversion are welcomed by sections of Hindu society.
On this occasion, Chhattisgarh BJP Vice-President Prabal Pratap Singh Judev also honoured the Chief Minister. The delegation included Sunil Ghanwat (Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh organiser, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti), Madan Mohan Upadhyay (Raipur coordinator, Mandir Mahasangh), Hemant Kanaskar (Chhattisgarh coordinator, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti), Ashish Parida, Rohit Tiranga, and several other members.

Memorandum presented to the CM
The delegation also presented a memorandum to the CM with the following demands:
- Strict enforcement of laws against ‘love jihad’ and religious conversion.
- Provision of special security and legal assistance to gau-rakshaks to prevent attacks against them; and advanced training in artificial insemination for new gau-sevaks, enabling their participation in the Animal Husbandry Department.
- Immediate decisions based on the recommendations of the Mandir Mahasangh to safeguard temple lands and management of ancient temples.
- Issuance of clear guidelines against ‘corporate jihad’ to ensure the safety of Hindu women employees working in private organisations.
Consideration of monthly honorarium for gau-rakshaks
The delegation also requested that gau-rakshaks be provided with a fixed monthly honorarium.
In response, the Chief Minister assured that the matter would be discussed in a Cabinet meeting and a decision would be taken accordingly.
