ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 14th Apr, 2026) Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police arrested two accused involved in nighttime burglary incidents and recovered stolen items during a successful operation in the jurisdiction of Phulgran Police Station.
An official told APP on Tuesday that SHO Phulgran Muhammad Zubair Mazhar Iqbal, along with his team led by ASI Mukhtar Nawaz, conducted a targeted operation against burglary cases.
He said the police arrested two accused, identified as Umar Hussain alias Honda and Yasir Hussain Shah, in case No. 93/26 dated April 8, 2026, under sections 380/457/411 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
The official said on the disclosure of the accused, stolen property was recovered in connection with other cases registered at Phulgran Police Station, including case Nos.
274/25 and 279/25.
He said the recovered items included solar plates, fans, bathroom and kitchen equipment, and electric wires.
During further verification, the official said accused Umar Hussain alias Honda was found to be a previous record holder in case No. 315/24 under sections 381-A/411 PPC at the same police station.
He said separate preventive action had also been initiated against the accused under sections 55/110 CrPC.
The official said further investigation was underway and the accused would be produced before the court of law for judicial remand.
