ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 19th Apr, 2026) The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Saturday issued a power suspension programme for Sunday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, the electricity supply will remain suspended in Rawalpindi Cant. Circle, from 07:00 am to 12:00 pm, Fouji Foundation, Mora Nagial, Morgah, Walayat Complex, feeders.
Under GSO Circle, shutdown will be observed from 07:00 am to 01:00 pm, 132KV New Wah (WAH-5) to POF (North) to POF South and New Wah(WAH-6) to POF East, from 08:00 am to 04:00 pm, 132KV New Wah (WAH-05) to POF south, from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm, 132-KV Chakwal- Bhagwal- Talagang, 132KV Kahuta City- Palandri, and surrounding areas will remain closed.
The IESCO management apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and said that power supply may be restored earlier than scheduled if the maintenance work is completed ahead of time.
