Lenovo recently unveiled a new addition to its premium laptop lineup with the 16-inch Yoga Pro 9i Aura Edition, a performance-focused workstation designed for professional creators. In addition to a rather sleek-looking design, the laptop also features high-end internal hardware to handle intensive photo, video, and 3D rendering tasks.
Inside the 9i Aura Edition is Intel’s Core Ultra 9 processor, which includes a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) delivering up to 50 TOPS for accelerated AI-powered features in editing and production software. For graphics, the laptop is equipped with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 GPU, which is accompanied by 8GB of GDDR7 VRAM.
The laptop also features a 16-inch 2.8K OLED touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2880 x 1800, which should come in handy as an on-the-go display for content creation and all-around productivity. Interestingly, Lenovo has also included the Yoga Pen Gen 2 and a haptic Force Pad, which allows the trackpad to function as a dedicated drawing surface.
The Yoga Pro 9i Aura Edition also comes with a versatile setup of ports for physical connectivity, which include Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, and a full-sized SD card reader (UHS-II); you’re also getting wireless connectivity courtesy of Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Other features include a 5MP Full HD IR webcam, a four-microphone noise-canceling array and a six-speaker Dolby Atmos audio system.
The laptop ships with 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM and a 1TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD, and comes with Windows 11 Home. It’s a bit on the expensive side, going for around $2,700.
