Developer HoYoverse has revealed all the content planned for Honkai: Star Rail 4.3, including its release date, the new playable character, the banner structure for the period, and, of course, the livestream codes that players can redeem for in-game freebies, such as Stellar Jade. At the moment, the turn-based RPG is in the final leg of its Version 4.2 content. Two new characters arrived in Honkai: Star Rail 4.2: Silver Wolf LV.999 and Evanescia, both of whom follow the Path of the Elation.

Of course, the two characters are new options for players, but the patch also brought significant story updates in the Planarcadia arc in Honkai: Star Rail, plus a ton of events – after all, Version 4.2 is an anniversary patch. You can get tons of free rewards from participating in the limited-time activities, such as Stellar Jade. Now, however, attention is shifting toward the next bit of content, which is set to arrive pretty soon and looks promising.

Honkai: Star Rail 4.3 – Release Date

Following the conclusion of the Honkai: Star Rail 4.3 livestream, HoYoverse revealed the release date for the next update. According to the company, Version 4.3 will go live on June 3 across all platforms on which the game is available. Based on the RPG’s regular update calendar, it seems like the patch will be arriving on schedule. With the release date announcement, players shouldn’t worry about any delays.

When a delay is in order, HoYoverse tends to either push back the patch’s respective livestream or announce that the update itself will be arriving later than usual. Since neither of these things happened and there has been an official announcement for the release date, it’s likely that Honkai: Star Rail 4.3 is ready and waiting for the conclusion of Version 4.2.

Honkai: Star Rail 4.3 Livestream Codes

During the special event, HoYoverse also shared a few livestream codes, which players can redeem for in-game rewards. They include Credits and Traveler’s Guides, for example, but the main reward for all codes is Stellar Jade. By redeeming all three livestream codes, you can get up to 300 free Stellar Jade in Honkai: Star Rail.

The table below lists all three of the Version 4.3 livestream codes and their respective rewards:

The Version 4.3 livestream codes are extremely limited and should be redeemed before they expire. To do so, you have two different options. The first of them is through the official Honkai: Star Rail livestream, which will require you to log in and redeem each code. The second method is through the in-game Redemption Code feature, accessible through the ellipsis button on the main menu. Regardless of the method you choose to redeem the codes, you must claim the rewards from your in-game mailbox to be able to use them.

New Characters & Banners Confirmed For Honkai: Star Rail 4.3

One of the main features shown during the livestream was the new playable character, Mortenax Blade. This new version of Blade in Honkai: Star Rail follows the Path of the Nihility and deals Fire damage to enemies during combat. Mortenax Blade still scales on Max HP and uses HP-consumption abilities, but they now work differently. As such, players who enjoyed the original character will still get the same vibes from Mortenax Blade, but with a slightly different playstyle.

With his Ultimate, Mortenax Blade can target all enemies, dealing damage to them, shredding their DEF stats, and increasing the damage they take. Moreover, he creates a zone and enters a special state. In this state, Mortenax Blade also gains buffs to CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG. On top of all that, Mortenax Blade also unlocks his Skill, which was previously unavailable, and a new version of his Ultimate.

This HP-loss character in Honkai: Star Rail can also Taunt opponents, which further leans into his HP-based mechanics, and even deal an extra instance of his Skill after accumulating enough charges.

As per usual, HoYoverse did not reveal too much about what players can expect in terms of narrative development, but it was shown, via the update’s trailer, that the Planarcadia arc will continue, and that the Stellaron Hunters will play a bigger part in the story than they had previously. The game will also likely set up a potential Himeko-related story, as Himeko’s new form in Honkai: Star Rail is already confirmed as a playable character for Version 4.4.

In addition to the main story content, the patch will also feature several events that players can partake in, not only to extend their playtime during the update’s duration, but also to grab free rewards. Even though it’s not as massive as Version 4.2, there will be a lot to do in Honkai: Star Rail 4.3 once it goes live in early June.
