The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is almost here – it will be officially unveiled tomorrow, April 22. Until then, the company is posting teasers and videos to build up hype for its camera flagship. Several videos just went up on Oppo’s YouTube page that showcase what the X9 Ultra can do in the hands of professionals.
In the first video below, photographer Jerome and explorer Guille travelled to Kyrgyzstan to capture one perfect shot – an eagle hunter in the mountains with the moon up in the sky. The team shot at 600mm (using the 300mm Hasselblad add-on lens) to make the moon appear huge.
The next video takes us to Iceland where the Oppo Find X9 Ultra was used to film handheld, on a motorized jib and even on a drone. In the process, the team leveraged the TILTA Khronos Creator Kit, which has a grip and an adjustable handle, plus several mounting options – and, of course, a way to attach an ND filter or the 300mm lens.
The videos were shot in 8K 10-bit with O-Log2. 3D LUTs were used to preview the final look of the video while still on location.
The next video focuses on just the TILTA Khronos kit and shows off the various add-on and mounting options it enables.
Finally, here’s a short that shows off the phone’s 10x zooming capabilities with no add-ons required.
