A few days ago a rumor claimed that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 would have a smaller hole punch for the selfie camera on its cover display, and the difference was quite noticeable.
Today, the same source claims to have confirmed the fact that the Galaxy Z Fold Wide (or whatever it ends up being called) will have a similarly small hole-punch for its cover display’s selfie camera too. Both of these will apparently be the smallest hole punches Samsung’s ever had on its foldables.
The Galaxy Z Fold Wide is rumored to be unveiled right alongside the Fold8, most likely in July, at Samsung’s next Unpacked event. It is rather obviously a response to the upcoming iPhone Fold, which will feature a similarly wide form factor, and is rumored to be announced in September.
